Per Person

  • 75g Penne Pasta
  • 50g Cheese sauce
  • 50g Broccoli
  • 35g Fresh (or frozen…Ssssh!) Peas
  • 30g Sweet & Mild Lily Peppers®

METHOD

  1. Add penne pasta to a rolling boiling saucepan and cook for 8 or so minutes or ‘till done
  2. In a separate pan, blanch off broccoli fleurets and fresh peas
  3. Warm through some cheese sauce
  4. Drain off the pasta and add to the cheese sauce and stir through
  5. Add the broccoli and peas
  6. Lastly, just before serving drain and add a tablespoon of Mild Lily Peppers®
  7. Serve steaming hot

Of course, any variation on pasta shapes, vegetables and sauce is totally acceptable!

METHOD

  1. On a plate or in a bowl, scoop out 2 soft and ready to eat Avocados

Tiger Lily Green Apple & Ginger Sambal Chicken Thighs
(Serves 4)
  • 8 Chicken Thighs – bone in, skin on
  • ½ jar Tiger Lily Green Apple & Ginger Sambal
  • Rice dish of choice

Can 2 ingredients provide such a flavoursome dish – oh yes!
The best part of this is mopping the roasting tray of all the caramelised juices.

METHOD

  1. Trim Chicken thighs of excess skin, make 2 cuts down to the bone. Place in bowl.
  2. Add ½ jar Tiger Lily Green Apple & Ginger Sambal to the thighs and massage in to the cuts in the meat
  3. Place skin side up in a roasting dish, making sure all the sambal is on the chicken
  4. Place in a hot oven (220°C/425°F/gas mark 7) for approximately 20-25 minutes
  5. Serve on your cooked rice making sure to pour over ALL the pan juices, mop roasting tray with crusty bread

The jar is packed with chilli, lemon grass, shallots and garlic. This one needs cooking to tenderise the lemongrass and release the fiery chillies. Tiger Lily Chilli & Lemongrass Sambal Stirfry – Quick and easy style
(Serves 4)
  • Bag bean shoots
  • Bag of Ready to go Singapore noodles, from the supermarket chilled aisle
  • Bag of stir-fry veg
  • 1 or 2 teaspoons Tiger Lily Chilli & Lemongrass Sambal
  • Knob of butter
  • Squirt of light Soy sauce

Add strips of chicken, beef, pork or prawns if desired or eat vegan tonight

Did we mention the Tiger Lily Chilli & Lemongrass Sambal is hot…. But the cooking at the beginning calms this and you will get addicted to that fragrant lemongrass and chilli fire

METHOD

  1. There can be a million variations on this, but essentially….
  2. Heat up a wok, not smoking and add a knob of butter. Add a teaspoon or 2 of the Chilli & Lemongrass Sambal – it is HOT so you’ll have to experiment to get your preferred heat! Fry the mix for a minute or two, don’t burn it as will go bitter
  3. If you are adding meat, do it now. Cook until ¾ done
  4. Add in the vegetables and bean shoots and stirfry for a few minutes until slightly wilted
  5. Add the noodles, toss and mix, when piping hot add a squirt of soy sauce and serve immediately
